Is your solar system producing what it should?

Your installer says everything is fine. This tells you whether that is true. We compare what your system actually made against what a system your size should have made in your city, in the weather those exact months had.

How this works

  1. We know what your city gets. Five years of NASA satellite irradiance for your location, turned into what actually lands on a tilted rooftop array rather than on flat ground.
  2. We adjust for the weather you actually had. A dull monsoon month is not a fault. Weather is subtracted before anything is blamed on your equipment.
  3. We estimate dust separately. Soiling in Jaipur is not soiling in Kochi. What is left after weather and dust is the part worth investigating.

What this cannot do. We do not know your tilt, your azimuth, or what shades your roof at four in the afternoon, and those are the biggest reasons a healthy system can look poor here. Satellite irradiance describes a region roughly 55 km across, not your roof. Monthly totals carry far less signal than the per-minute data an inverter records, so treat this as a direction to look in, not a diagnosis.

What we keep. We ask for no name, no email and no account, and we store none of those because we never collect them. We do keep the check itself: city, system size, and the generation figures you entered. Over time that builds an independent picture of what Indian rooftops really produce, which is something no calculator or installer currently has, and it is what lets these baselines get better. There is nothing in a stored row that points back to you.

Running this for someone else's system?

Installers and service firms use this to quote annual maintenance on systems they did not install, where they have no portal login and therefore no way to prove anything. Run the customer's figures, then send them the result link. It shows their own numbers, with the method and the assumptions visible.

If you run a fleet you already have access to, the monitoring product does this continuously instead of one month at a time.
