THE SOILING SIGNAL

Dust builds by the day. We count it before it costs a truck roll.

Soiling isn't one curve. A site near a highway dulls faster than one in open farmland. We pull live PM10 air quality for each site's exact location. Above 100 µg/m3, CPCB's own threshold for moderate air quality, we shorten the soiling estimate and move up the clean date. Rain resets the clock automatically, so a truck roll only happens when a clean will actually pay for itself.

Built in the open, for how India actually runs solar.

Global monitoring tools are tuned for conditions that do not exist here. SolarLens is built around Indian ones: monsoon cloud cover, DISCOM curtailment, and the dust that settles differently in Jaipur than it does in coastal Surat. The rules are explicit physics, not a black box, so you can always see why a site was flagged.

We are a small, remote-first team that has built reliable data pipelines before. SolarLens is software-only, runs in the cloud, and is being shaped right now alongside the installers using it in early access.

Monsoon-aware

The model tells a genuine fault apart from a legitimate week of cloud cover, so you do not chase false alarms through the rains.

DISCOM-aware

Grid curtailment hits many sites at once. SolarLens recognises that signature and separates it from a real, site-level failure.

Dust, by region

Soiling follows local patterns. We track each site's dust build-up against local air quality and flag a clean only when it will actually pay for itself.

Which inverter brands do you support?

Connectors are built for Growatt, GoodWe, SolarEdge and Solarman. The free health check works with any brand, because it takes generation figures you read off your own app rather than connecting to it.

Do I need to install any hardware?

No. Everything reads data that already exists, either from the inverter cloud you already use or from figures you type in. There is nothing to fit on a roof.

How quickly can we be live?

The free health check answers in about two minutes with no account. Fleet onboarding is manual today, so it starts with a conversation rather than a signup form.

Can clients see their own site?

Yes. You can send an owner a result link showing their own numbers, the method and the assumptions, without giving them a login.
